“ Excellent traditional Italian market they offer a lot of products imported from Italy, Angelo was very helpful. The Italian hero was simply delicious, very clean, accessible, plenty of items to choose from, they have a butcher shop, self service area. It was a pleasure. Buying my groceries and food, will definitely be back ”
“ We got their dinner for four menu. We picked it up. It was a great way to serve dinner to our guest without cooking ourselves. Everybody loved the food. ”
“ Your prepared food is delicious, nothing can compare. Your sandwich's are really good no need to go to the Bronx. But please bring the Breakfast Pizza to Wantagh. It would be great for a brunch. ”
“ I drove over 40 minutes to try a hero from Salpinos. I had heard about this place on social media and let me tell you it was 100% worth it. I got the son of a peach hero. 10/10 will be coming back for sure!! ”
“ Amazing sandwich shop with high quality, boars head products, with a variety of sandwich combos to choose from. Fast, attentive and organized service. The grocery store has a great variety of fresh produce and drinks for all your last minute, beachy needs. huge sandwiches as well, would come again! ”
“ Great spot for anything you need Italian, employees make the food and sandwiches with care ”
“ What a gem. If ya don't feel like cooking Italian style, this is your place! All your favorites are there, made from scratch and ready to heat and eat. I go often for their Italian hero. I don't tell them what to put on it except roasted peppers. Each guy makes it differently but all are delicious. Got some boars head cold cuts cheaper and fresher than the local supermarkets. ”
“ I am embarrassed that I have allowed so much time to pass without acknowledging great customer service. I have been in your store several times and have become so reliant upon Angela for suggestions and finding me the perfect desserts and even suggesting compatible entrees! Dessert is a very important part of the meal to my family. Angela NEVER disappoints. Angela is so welcoming and very in tune to your needs. I feel like I'm visiting A friend. Please thank Angela for me for the many times she has "saved" me; sorry it took so long to acknowledge this friendly, helpful lady. ”
“ 5 stars for the amount of Prosciutto they packed into my sandwich. It really was an obscene amount, What do I tell the deli guy, a little less quality Italian meal please. Thanks boss. I've been seeing Salpinos show up in my social media feed so I decided to give them a try. I read the menu before I arrived and made a decision on what sandwich to order. I must mention, the parking lot sucks.... It's single file so if someone ahead of you is waiting for a spot to free up everyone waits. Once inside, the massive deli is to the right. I walked to the back and saw the line, not too bad but it got really long after I hopped on line. I'm inching up to the counter and I finally see all of the sandwich choices. There's a handwritten sign: Son of a Peach Prosciutto, fresh burrata, arugula and Italian peaches on a hero. See? There is a good list and I must be on it. I changed my sandwich to this bad boy. The deli guy was a professional, he made that sandwich like he was touching up the Mona Lisa. When I opened that bad boy at my desk and tasted the peaches along with the creamy burrata? Pure heaven. The prosciutto kept sliding off so I had to rearrange the sandwich meat, it was a lot of prosciutto. Is that a bad thing? I do know I'll be back to try another Salpino Sandwich ”
